usually with showers unless otherwise noted. Rooms also
include direct dial telephone, TV DVD Place, Sony Clock
Radio/CD player, hairdryers, bathrobes and other amenities
such as hairdryer, soaps, shampoo, Makeup Remover, Shoe
Shine Wipes and Q-Tips. .

Grand Queen Room: Located on the third floor is
a small junior suite ideal for a honeymoon, anniversary or
other special occasion. Both drama and elegance live here.
A Queen sized Sleigh bed is complimented by a
sitting area with a channel back chair, carved Chinese
wood and stone occasional table, hand painted lamp, Uncle
Joe’s wingback chair and a cuddly sofa. The sofa,
when needed, becomes a second Double Sized bed.
The bathroom sports a claw footed slipper bathtub,
brass and copper fixtures including shower. Amenities in
this bathroom include a full line of Deserving Thyme
products, such as Bath Salts and Seaweed, Foam Bath, and
handmade Purely Saltspring face soap.

The Twins: This Victorian inspired Room has two
extra long twin beds. The bathroom here has a shower,
pedestal sink and toilet. A writing desk sits before the
window looking out onto the sundeck.

Standard King: Nestled between the Twins and the
Deluxe Queen rooms is the Standard King. The motif in the
room is Purple, Green and Beige, it is very restful and
provides the perfect back drop to our twin faux painted
head boards. Originally in an English Nursery, these
headboards provide the Ying for our Yang in this room. My
first big Auction purchase is the Early Victorian Mahogany
chaise which sits in the bay window. The bathroom has a
shower, pedestal sink and toilet.

Deluxe Queen: A corner bedroom with bay windows
- mountain and city view. This Victorian themed room has a
Queen sized bed and hand carved Mahogany Eagle headboard.
The firm mattress is topped by a feather bed adding
support and comfort to your sleep. A very comfortable
armchair in the window a small desk, and a flat screen TV
round out the room.
Our house artist has created an original piece of
Artwork in the bathroom - the Lost Houses of the West End.

Standard Queen: A modern room softed by a few
choice antiques and art is waiting for you with a queen
sized memory foam mattress. This room is designed to be "feather-free"

Food and Animal Allergies
Boots' our cat resides in the basement of the house - away from the guest floors. "Friday and Persia" our poodles also live away from the guest floors. If you would like to meet them we'd be happy to introduce you. They are very affectionate and might be a good substitute for the pet you left at home!
If you have a severe allergy to cat hair you might wish not to stay at the West End Guest House, however if your allergy is only minor you should have no problems.
Many of our guests have food allergies. We try to accommodate all everyone but it is helpful to know what you normally eat for breakfast, or what might be a prefered breakfast for you. Please let us know when your reservation at the West End Guest House is being made.
